This could be a number of things. The first thing to do is make sure the speakers arent faulty, grab some headphones or whatnot from a discman or ipod and plug em in.

If your using a soundcard/ not onboard sound. Then you need to try all the outlets with the speaker connection. Ive come across a few that are mis labeled. Also if your using a soundcard, you need to install all the drivers for your specific soundcard, and disable your onboard sound.

For onboard sound basically check the volume controls, make sure none of the boxes are muted. Silly i know but it happens.

Most issues can be fixed in the sound and audio part of the control panel, make sure your soundcard or whatnot is the installed option for playback, etc.

Voice device

the voice device meaning probably the built in microphone installed at once with the sound driver ...cause its a plug and play kind of device ..if it doesn't work probably needs a sound driver reinstall...
also double click the pictogram with a speaker on ..from the task bar ...and after the volumes are displayed options /than properties ...than choose the mic from the list and check it ...after that it will apear in the main volume panel ..see that the volume is up...that is not muted...and it will work

Virus disabled my sound and I can't download any anti virus softw

You Better Format your Drive if not possible then plug it on some other PC (Which got the AntiVirus, with Latest Updates ).
Scan it then, make it clean and go on.
But if your Machine is totally messed up then it will be very difficult for you make it absolutely error free, so the best is to begin again with the antivirus, and keep the Virus Updated.

The wizar is asking for a serial number and idont now wich

from your brief explanation it sounds like a Windows install and it's asking for the product ID that would be on a MicroSoft label on the back or side of the system.

If some other software is being re-installed then the serial number from that CD or package is required.

I plugged all the right wires in the right place but my computer can not fined the specker

you have three choices for speaker. so in other words a 33% chance of getting the right one. they are sometimes colour coded. quickest way i do it if i'm not sure is to start windows media player with a song and change holes till i get the right one. The other problem could be an incorrect driver for sound. did you reinstall the operating system or make other upgrades ?

No sound when i plug in head phones into headset jack, but when head phones are not pluged in i get sound from computers speckers.

Hi jasonbutera,

Follow these troubleshooting steps:

1) plug in your head phones into another headset jack in another computer or port - this verifies whether the head phones are good or not.

If the head phones are good, then we know the sound ports are not good. If the sound ports reseatable than give it a try. If the is an integrated sound port, than there is really nothing you can do other than replace the system board. If your pc is under warranty, by all means take it back to be repaired.

Hope this helps and good luck.

Hi i have some problem in my pc idont have sounds in my pc please help me

Do a right click on the volume icon in the lower right side of your screen. Now click open volume control.
Make sure nothing is muted and all levels are at their highest.
Next click on options at the top left of the volume control box and select Properties.
Select the correct mixer device from the drop down menu and select playback.
make sure all the boxes in the bottom are checked and click OK.
Now make sure all the levels are max and no Mute box is checked.
Should work now.
If you still do not have sound, try reinstalling the sound card drivers. If that also does not work, it could be that you will need to replace your sound card..
Hope this helps...good luck!
