My BRUSH CUTTER PBC3020Y wili start but cuts out when attempting to increase revs

The newer Ryobi models use a 50:1 ratio. That is 2.5oz of oil in 1 US gallon. Half that to make up a half-gallon mix. The slightly older Ryobis' used a 40:1 and some evern a richer 32:1 gas to oil mix. I recommend synthetic or at least a blend. Too much oil won't really hurt anything, but too little can ruin the engine.
