When i receive a fax everything is perfect, when i send a fax it reaches the destination where im sending it as a blank sheet of paper

Hi,

If you are able to receive fax and it is printed out fine, there is nothing wrong with your printer. If the other person is receiving blank fax, you may be placing the documents to fax in opposite way, If you are placing the paper upside ( with text ), try to face it down and fax. It should work.

Ron

Paper is jammed inside the printer and I can't remove it

Hi! cconrad37. The solution for your problem depends largely on the type of Fax Machines you are using. But generally, what you do is that you check at the back of your machine if there is an opening where you can open and remove the jammed paper.
If there is none at the bottom, check at the top or look at the sides. But avoid exerting power on the machine so as not to damage it.
By the time you try these steps, you'll surely get your machine back to work
Take care of your self.

I am having a problem trying to send a fax using my canon mx310 Im not even sure how to load the paper

There should be an area at teh top of the printer for you to place the paper onto. You will see an icon on the tray up top it will either show you how to place the paper either face down or face up. You will then push the fax button on the left side of the control panel. You will then dial the number of where you are faxing it to with the keypad on the right side. ONce you have entered the number all you should have to do is press the "start" button or the "ok" button. And away your fax will go.

Fax output error

Pretty sure your paper tray button is set to get paper from the bottom paper cassette which is the tray that slides into the bottom of the printer.

If you switch the paper tray selection button* to use the rear feed tray you'll probably find it will print faxes sucessfully or you can put paper in the cassette tray...

*The paper tray selection button is just under (and slightly right of) the "Memory Card" button and has an icon image of the printer with two LED's (top and bottom). These lights indicate which of the trays is currently selected...

Hope that helps.

Top feeder not feeding paper through

I have had this problem before and found that certain types of papers cause this. Can you try some different paper you may have lying around and try that? Post back with the results.

Toshiba fax #DP 125F

Open the top cover.

Remove the toner and drum cartridge. Where the paper comes out you'll see a cover for the fuser held by two screws. Remove the screws, pull straight up to remove that cover. The fuser is there.

Check the eject switch actuator. mounted on top of the fuser, it might be broken.

Black lines on copies when run thru fax feeder

There is a thin strip of glass that you will see when you lift the top feeder. There is most likely white-out on it.

When you use the top feeder, it doesn't use the large glass, it only 'rolls' the original document over this small strip of glass.

Why is my printer saying original loaded?

Is there a piece of paper in the top (copier/fax) feed, or under the top against the glass? Original Loaded means there's some document in place, ready to be copied or faxed. If you remove that, the message should go away. If there isn't one, check inside the feed on top, and see if there's anything stuck in there that could be blocking the sensor.
