Question about General Food Processors

Open Question

Again this solution is not a solution it only takes me to the page to down load the manual to which I have to pay yet again...this is the same page and solution you gave me for the first solution....I would expect a better service from this site for the maney I have already paid.....up to now I could have got and given the same answers as your so called experts have given....... What I require is a simple answer of which wires go where on the new switch that I have purchased. You also state that my question is about a microwave oven...which it obviously is not.

When I use the blender, oil comes out of the motor

The seal on the shaft is leaking, the cost of paying someone to replacing it would be more than what the machine is worth, unless you can DIY.

Is the Cuisinart DLC 7 Super Pro Manual available to download?

Manuals can be found here:

You'll have to look around at the options and pick one that looks like the one you have.

If you have an older one, the handle for the bowl generally goes in front, and check the base to see if the button that gets pushed down when the top is in locked position is in the front or the back... and try to match that. The DLC-10s has it in the front (7 cup machine), but many of the larger machines have it in the back. The feed tube matches up with the button when you put the lid on. If you put the lid on with the feed tube 180 degrees off, you can break the lid/bowl getting them apart again.

Getting this right is the most important thing... otherwise they just kind of work. The link for the 7-cup Pro Classic Food Processor (DLC-10s) has really good technique information with color photos. It's worth grabbing regardless of the machine you have.

Other manuals have other recipes... so you might want to download more than one manual.

First of all, thank you very much Marian for choosing FIXYA today for your online technical support needs.

Here is a direct link to the ONLINE USER'S MANUAL for that model:

To view the Owner's Manual with Operating Instructions just use your mouse to click on the link, which is the underlined and blue highlighted section of text just above.

This will open a new web browser page automatically for you and allow you to view the information at the website indicated and the contents of the Owner's Manual.

You may need ADOBE READER installed on your computer to read PDF documents, although many computers already have this type of utility pre-installed.

You can download this free at WWW.ADOBE.COM if necessary. Click on the DOWNLOAD ADOBE READER button on right side of the ADOBE home page when you get there, then follow the onscreen instructions to install the software on your computer.

I truly hope that was helpful to you.

Good luck and take care.

I have a kenwood gourmet fp505 - how do I use the whisk attachments? Also where can I get a manual for this product?

I was wondering too how to assemble the Whisk, saw your post, searched again for the manual and happily found it buried in a drawer! Here is a copy of section on the Whisk attachment.

Food processing. I wish to feed eg. carrots, parsely, pumpkin,

If you're in Australia there are some Sunbeam models that have a continuous flow attachment where the chopped items don't have to end up in a bowl you have to continually empty.

The Sunbeam Oskar™ 400 Model LC2700 can be found at http://www.sunbeam.com.au/Pages/Browse/ProductDetail.aspx?pid=1352

The Sunbeam Cafe Series LC8900 http://www.sunbeam.com.au/Pages/Browse/ProductDetail.aspx?pid=1360 has a similar attachment that can be bought as an accessory. LC0800 http://www.sunbeam.com.au/Pages/Browse/ProductDetail.aspx?pid=1351

Now I'm guessing you're not in Australia but at least these things do exist! By the way I don't work for Sunbeam but have ordered this type of thing in for customers.

I have all the accessories to juice an orange but can['t make it work in my mini prep pro food processor

I would just remove and replace the work bowl, and then reposition the strainer, etc again. I don't know what the magic is, but if I just put everything back in palce exactly as the user manual lays out, I can always get it to work again.
