Whirlpool lgr4634eq3 gas dryer-runs on low heat or heat fails to work-sometimes. Timer is new; plenty of gas, the ignition element obviously works

i would check your gas valve coils
they are probably weaking or at least your hold is
but i would replace both
they sit right on top of your gas regulator behind the ignitor
two littly tube like things

Dryer heat shuts off

Hello, reading between the lines I'm going to assume you have a gas dryer. This problem is going to be your safety valve coils...basically they get old and over time of heating then cooling develop a short when they heat up...It may appear the gas lights to start but then goes out until the safety valve coils cool back down. Here is a picture of the coils 57d5263.jpgThis should solve your problem. Hope this helps, Please feel free to comment again if you have any further questions or concerns. Good Luck! Mike

Whirlpool LGR4634EQ3 not heating

most likely your coil set is bad. is it turns on once, but then doesn't ignite again, your coil set is overheating and not working. it will need to be replaced. Joe

Gas dryer/ whirlpool

well your generating heat which is a good sign, either there is a blockage in your venting() most likely source of issue!) but you say ou replaced, i would then look to replacing the valve coils, 279834, about 20 bucks, easy to replace... its possible that they open the valve upon start up allowing heat, but after being on 20-30 min they overheat and no longer open not allowing heat to generate..

Gas dryer not heating up

Flash, did you check the thermal fuse in the back? On a gas dryer the drum will still turn if it's blown. check out the picture and post back.
