Question about Whirlpool Washing Machines
Have you actually checked the drain pump to be sure? It doesn't take much to clog the drain pump and cause slow draining issues. I've seen items as small as a cotton swab or toothpick stop the impeller on these pumps. The following link explains the "F02" error and how to check it:
You may be correct and have an electrical connection problem to the drain pump, but this is not common. You should also make sure you are using HE detergent and read the label carefully when you do. Some of these detergents are double (2X) and triple (3X) concentrated. If you diagnose the problem and it turns out to be the drain pump, please post back with your model number and I can assist you with locating a part number for your washer. Here's the link for step-by-step instructions on how to replace the drain pump (if needed):
I hope this helps you. Please post back if you require further assistance.

Welcome to FixYa
F02 is a drain error in your Kenmore washer, if the unit is unable to drain then after 4 minutes it will display sud and then F02. The first thing that should be done is cleaning the drain hose and the drain pump filter, you can take out three torx screws from the bottom front panel and then clean the area completely, lift up the cap to clean the filter. If the error returns then check the drain pump if it is not working then replacing the pump is recommended repair. Please get back to me if you have any other questions.
