My gardena c14e timer is leaking from its case. Can I take it apart and repair it? And what spares (new seal?) will I need, and where do I get them?

Cant stop the timer leaking

Gardena certainly has a glossy site, but I have been unsuccessful trying to contact the company.
Their products come with warranty and they show parts, but no hint where you can buy parts.

I do not know how to fix your plastic timer valve, or if parts would actually repair the thing.
Maybe glue except I don't know a plastic glue that holds on outside of device under water pressure.
Plus I cannot see where it is leaking, and there is no description that tells me if valve was left outside and cracked with freezing water, or if the valve is 10 years old, or if exposed to hard water deposits or minerals in the water, or particulate has scratched moving parts, or high water pressure, or if wd-40 spray lubricant dissolved the o-ring, or if the valve cracked from an impact, or if exposure to sun/heat has made the plastic brittle.

From fixya standpoint, gardena is the most problematic watering device.

If frost crack the device, then it means the whole device was pushed out of shape until something broke. Frankly, I would not spend money trying to fix a cracked piece of plastic.

If you are looking for a manual at Gardena, they only have sales brochures and technical drawings, neither of which helps the ordinary customer.
