First of check that burner holes are not blocked .

Make sure gas valve is in the ON position after lighting the pilot.
Try jumping the thermostat terminals together to see if burner comes on.
Three things could cause this problem
1. bad operator on gas valve .
2.low millivolts.
3. thermostat not functioning .

The gas for both passes thru the FMDA Safety Valve -
in you case it's defective and must be replaced. You can find it here

1. If the pilot light will not stay lit, one of three things have failed. First, check to see if the hi-limit is the culprit by taking one wire off and connecting it with the other wire. Do as you always do and light the pilot. If the pilot remains lit, then the high limit is bad and needs to be replaced.

To replace the hi-limit, you first need to empty the oil from the tank. This needs to be done because the sensing bulb for the hi-limit enters through the side of the tank. There is a large nut in the side of the tank and a smaller nut inside the large nut, loosen and pull these off. Now you can remove the defective high limit. Reverse the procedure to install the new hi-limit. Always screw the larger nut into the tank first and then the smaller nut. Light the pilot and your unit should be working.

2. If the pilot still will not stay lit, then the thermopile is most likely the culprit. One end is attached to the pilot and the other is attached to the gas valve. Remove the thermopile from both places and replace. Light the pilot, and if it remains lit you are good to go. Also, remember to reconnect the hi-limit wire.

3. If the pilot still will not stay lit, then the only thing left is the combination safety gas valve. To replace the combo valve, you will need to have a couple of pipe wrenches. This is the most difficult part to change, due to the limited space. Remember to install the new gas valve in the same direction and replace all the connections.

4. If the pilot is lit, but the fryer still does not work, the thermostat may be faulty. Only three things can happen, either the burner will not light when turned on even though the pilot is lit, the oil will not get hot enough or when the oil reaches temperature it will not shut off. In either case the thermostat will need to be replaced.

If it is running wild (will not shut off) the oil will overheat causing the hi-limit to trip out and shut everything off. By resetting the hi-limit and relighting the pilot and it stays lit, then you will know that the thermostat is not good.

Does the pilot light stay lit if you continually depress the control valve?
If the pilot light stays lit as long as you keep the valve depressed, then the problem is the thermocouple is bad. The pilot light makes enough electricity via the thermocouple to hold open the gas valve that feeds the burners. If the thermocouple fails to produce that electricity, the gas valve will shut down and switch off the gas flow to the whole unit.

I changed my thermocouple on my fireplace,it still wont stay lit

Thermocouple keeps the pilot lit.
Thermopile keeps the burner lit.
Please specify what won't stay lit...
If it's the burner, you may need to change the thermopile as well.
If the pilot still won't stay lit, you will want to make sure that the pilot flame is large enough to completely engulf the thermocouple and keep it hot. If it's too small, you may need to take some compressed air and blow out the pilot hood to remove any blockage.

Janitrol GUPS075-3 Furnace burners will not stay lit

The first thing I would do is make sure the flame sensor is clean, this is a metal rod immersed in the burner flame on the opposite side of the igniter. If too much oxidation builds up on it, it will not allow the burner to stay lit. To clean, just turn off furnace and remove flame sensor and clean with steel wool and then reinstall. If this does not solve the problem there may be a problem with the gas valve.

Short answer, yes. However you could have another problem. Replace the thermocouple that keeps the pilot lit. You can get a universal one at any good hardware or farm store. Make sure the new thermocouple is well into the pilot flame. If the blower knocks out the pilot flame again, I would be suspecting cross contamination from a crack in the heat exchanger. As the exchanger heats up, it may be causing a small crack to open and allows the blower to extinguish the flame. It may also be causing a leak of Carbon Monoxide into the heated room air. I would get it checked out very quickly.

Pilot won't stay lit in Reliance 606 gas water heater

The Reliance 606 has an enclosed thermal couple. Before you try taking that assembly apart take a wire brush to the bottom opening directly under the burner. There is a metal filter on the very bottom of the water heater. It could be that the filter has gotten filled with dust or animal hair. It took a serviceman 2 days to figure this out for me. The water heater has to have good airflow through that filter to work well.

Thats a safety.

The unit senses a failure to ignite, so it goes into safety mode keeping the blower running to prevent overheating and fires. And keeping the inducer motor running to prevent the same, as well as raw gas build up inside the unit.

The newer systems are "smarter" and can detect more specific problems and failures. The older ones simply know that the thing didn't light, so they bring on the fans for safety.

Natural gas hot water heater not stying lit

Probably a bad solenoid in the gas valve. Higher voltage of a new thermocouple keeps it open longer but it still fails over a period of time. Look into a new gas valve for the water heater.

Pilot lites; but, as soon as I turn on gas flame

sounds like your thermacouplar is going out and needs replaced. Sometimes these will act like they are working fine , but when the pilot stays on for awhile and later goes out it is a sure sign that it is bad

Water heater will not stay lit even after replacing thermal coupl

The pilot must encompass the thermocouple "bulb" in order for the thermocouple to generate enough current to keep the pilot valve on. You must also hold the red button down for a long enough period to get the thermocouple hot. If the pilot is not large enough, it could be due to a clog in the pilot orifice at the pilot itself. Sometimes a couple of passes over the end of it with fine steel wool is all it takes to clear it.

Hope this helps. Feel free to share what you found. Thanks.
