Question about Canon PIXMA MP530 All-In-One InkJet Printer
Welcome to Fixya
Sounds like the printhead is already clogged up due to numerous times of deep cleaning using the software. Try to clean the heads manually. Please see procedure below:
1. Remove the cartridge. For models where the print head is in the printer, drop seven to 10 drops of isopropyl alcohol (rubbing alcohol) down the ink receptacle area. This is the hole where the ink flows into the head from the cartridge. Run a few self-cleaning utilities. If necessary, allow to sit a few hours or overnight and repeat the self-cleaning utility.
2. Soak the cartridge print head in hot water if the print head is in the cartridge. Allow to soak overnight. Dry the print head area with a paper towel. Repeat the self-cleaning utility.
3. Place the cartridge print head in isopropyl alcohol if the hot water soak did not unclog the print head. Leave the print head covered in alcohol overnight. Use a damp paper towel to wipe off the print head area. Dry carefully. Try the self-cleaning utility again.
4. Purchase a new cartridge if the alcohol soak did not unclog the print head in the cartridge. This will provide new print heads that won't be clogged. Contact a service technician for repair of print heads in the printer if the alcohol did not unclog the print head.

Hi Take out the magenta cartridge and using a dry clean cloth wipe the copper connections on the back of the cartridge, inspect where the cartridge is put to make sure they are also clean and ndamaged.Reinsert the cartridge and allow the printer to recognize it and do a test print it doesn't have to be a big picture just enough to see if the ink is working, if it still won't print then the cartridge is most likely faulty take it back to where you bought it and ask for a new cartridge.
Unplug the power. Take all cartridges out and wait five minutes. Reconnect machine to power. Wait until machine demands carts. Reinsert cart as demanded.
Machine should run a short cleaning cycle.
