F 35-1 pertains to Abnormal Low fixing temp TH1. Try to clean the thermistor and reset the code by entering mode 25, software switch 3-1, make it zero. If the problem occur again, try to replace thermistor. Make sure that AC supply from mains is okay.
This is a fixing unit over temperature fault. The device has detcted the fixing unit has gone over 470 degrees F.
You will need to check the Thermisters in the fixing unit, and repair or replace as needed. Service mode DIP Switch needs to be reset after repairing.
WARNING • When F34-∗∗, F35-∗∗ or F36-∗∗ (fixing temperature related abnormality) occurs, be sure to repair a defective part before setting the 25 DIPSW 3-1 to 0. If the 25 DIPSW 3-1 is set to 0 without repairing a defective part, it may cause a fire.
How to clear fuser abnormality codes (F34, F35, F36), 2020.
Solution: To reset fuser codes, perform the following steps: 1. Access the 25 mode (power the machine OFF. Hold down the 2 and 5 keys, and power the machine ON). 2. Press P-4-7-P on the key pad. (1, 4, 5, or 6 will be displayed on the copy quantity indicator). 3. Press the 0 key to change the indication to a zero. 4. Press the start/print key to enter the new data. 5. Power the machine OFF then ON to exit the 25 mode.
If the code comes back then your fusing unit will need parts/service.
On most Konica copiers, an F35 error indicates: 1. low temperature of the fuser; and/or 2. open lamp; or 3. open thermo wire fuse; or 4. open thermistor; or 5. or anything heat related at start or warm up.
Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.
My service info doesn't go back that far either, but this procedure should work to reset the code. However, I would make sure there's no toner build-up on the fuser thermistor or thermostat first, otherwise the code will reappear.
Here's the instructions on clearing the code:
Enter the 25 mode by holding down the 2 and 5 keys while turning on the copier. Press the P key, then enter 47, then press P again. Enter 0 and press the Print key. Turn the machine off/on to exit the 25 mode.
If the code reappears, then theres a problem. If it doesn't, you're good to go!
