SOURCE: Maximum HARDDISK CAPACITY FOR Intel 865GV motherboard

Yes, your board will support 320gb. I am not aware of a limit to how many gigabytes you can have per computer. I currently have 1.5 terabytes. 1500gb.

SOURCE: Maximum hard disk support

this hard drive size will work with your motherboard but the problem is the size will be detected only up to 130 GB or less, so if you will be using that size of hard drive you will just waste it.. so better use a 120 GB of hard drive or upgrade your motherboard so you can use a 250 GB.....

Hope that helps.............

With a decent video card, lots of memory and a dual core processor it could - just don't expect great performances.

Will it work 1 tb hdd in intel D865GSA mother board

Yes a 1 TeraByte Hard Drive will work for your intel motherboard.

The link above shows what your motherboard can handle. Any Hard Drives now can operate smoothly on any motherboard. You can only limit your RAM or memory from the motherboard. It can only handle 2GB of memory, but your fine on Hard Drive space and lots of memory. If you plan on a new Operating System, I suggest sticking to Windows XP or Vista. 3GB is required for Windows 7 operating systems. I hope this solves your issue of installing a new Hard Drive to old motherboard.

I have intel d865gsa mother board, i want motherboard drivers for windows vista ultimate 32bit or windows 7 32bit. plz give me solution urgent

There arent any official drivers for anything above windows xp which have been released for this particular board.

Windows 7 on the other hand should install a chipset driver and get you up and going automatically with windows update.

When intel (or other manufacturers) do not have drivers for newer operating systems on their websites, it means that they have not been released yet.

With older operating systems, sometimes they stop support for them.. but on newer os's, it is in their best interest to supply them via the website.

Unfortunately, intel doesnt have em. sorry!

System has got 512 DDR 400. Can I increase the ram capacity, as the system is working very slow. Upto what capacity the ram can be increased. Ravi

Depends which version of their board you have, I will list them here so you can just check your board and reference the right one:

Intel Desktop Board D865GLC - 4GB maximum Ram
Intel Desktop Board D865GSA - 2GB maximum Ram
Intel Desktop Board D865GLCLK - 4GB maximum Ram

If you only have 512MB Ram at this point then you definately will see huge performance increases if you take it up to at least 2GB and if you can take it to 4GB (especially since these boards only have onboard video instead of graphics card)
