Question about ViewSonic VT2230 TV
This kind of problem related to bad firmware saved in ROM that is part of main board so main board will be rpelaced to solve this issue.
It has nothing to do with power supply board that was replaced.
I'm not sure if main board is available some where as I could not locate it.

Unplug the unit to the outlet then push the power on button for 1 minute to drain the voltages and refresh the board. Try to power it on again.
If the symptom still persist, your power supply was gone to out-of-regulation and/or missing some output voltages. Most common symptom of out-of-regulation was a bad filter electrolytic capacitor. Some gone leaky and some are dried which will result to dropped of voltages and disable the unit. Leaky capacitor has bulged/dome at the top and easy to recognized but dried capacitor has no physical indication. You must have a capacitor checker to determine its condition.
Missing voltages in the output stage was caused by open fuse/fusible resistor in line with a shorted transistor. You must know how to test this parts to pinpoint where the fault came from. Effective way to locate where the fault came from is by checking the output voltages...
If you don't have necessary tools and test instrument and can't troubleshoot the unit yourself, I would advice you to look for an experienced technician to isolate the trouble. Also check if your unit is under warranty, if so avail it because the manufacturer will fix it for free or a little charged only.
Hope I helped you.
Have a nice day!
