Question about Computers & Internet
You have either,
cracked your laptop screen
the ribbon cable has come loose,
Either way you will need to take off the front of the laptop screen plastic bezel
remove the screws
detatch old screen,
if the screen is cracked replace the screen
if there is no cracks then check that the ribbon cable didnt come loose
u can put it back in and check the screen works before putting the front bezel and screws back in
If you are not confident ask a laptop repair guy to do it for you
i fixed one last week for a client,
it was £88.70 incuding VAT and special recorded delivery (with insurance)
screen arived next day and took me 1 hour to fit
I charged the lady £45 to fit the screen
So if you want to save money do it yourself
You can find Youtube videos explaining how to do it, thats what i did
I am a PC repair guy, but i had never had to fit a screen before
I had no problems whatsoever fitting it
the hardest part for me was getting the front plastic bezel off and then back on at the end
goodluck hope this helps you please rate me
