I worked in a it company. my administrator blocked my facebook chat whereas i can do every thing in my facebook account exept chat.i can sea my online friend in my facebook account. i dont know how did do this? whold u tell me how can i activate my chat in facebook

This is an issue with facebook, not your computer. Just give it some time and try again.

There might be a way! You can try a few things: 1) try going to https://www.facebook.com - sometimes this works (don't forget the s after http). If this works, you may need to continue adding in the s if pages are blocked. 2) Try going to https://www.vtunnel.com, then browsing to Facebook through there.
If neither of those work, then your company's firewall is doing its job and keeping users off of Facebook! You may have better luck going and talking to your IT Administrator to see if he'll let you on during lunch or break times. Don't get in trouble :) Alex

You cannot login the facebook account if your computer has been blocked. You can contact your network administrator to unblocked your facebook account. It happen to me sometime. I just click the network administrator on the blocked facebook website and fill up the requirements and follow the instructions and send. They will email it to you. Just try it.

hello! maybe is blocked... go to start->control panel->internet options (properties)->privacy; then go to "sites". if the facebook url is there select it then click "allow".

A word of warning. Some companies have policies regarding activities such as the ones you describe. I have a friend that did some similar things and was fired because he made the corporate IT guys look bad. Keep in mind that you are using their network and probably their computers. They have the right to deny access to any site. If they are blocking through firewall/proxy servers then there is no way around it. All traffic must pass through these servers to get to the internet. My advice is to get a cellphone that can run the Facebook mobile app and access it through that. I use a Blackberry Curve 8310 since my company blocks Facebook. I hope that this helps. Good luck.
