Question about Indesit W 123 Front Load Washer

2 Answers

It will stay on a wash cycle constantly unless i turn the temperature onto zero temp. and manually stop it and then change dial to rinse and spin. But now i cannot even do that and get the washing out. I'm sure i need a new machine (over 4yrs old) although would help if it can be fixed- but any chance of some advice on getting the washing out without flooding the place? thank you!

Sounds like you have a timer relay problem ,shouldn't be too much. If you know what a relay looks like (a cube usually clear or orange maybe blue) follow the wires down from the control panel and you will see an electrical control board and on that board you will find the relay. Sometimes the relay is in a socket and you can pull it out but most of the time they are soldered directly to the board . Hope you can solder or find some who does .You can just get a board (the relay also) for it as well at your local appliance shop ,a little more pricey.

Try to press the start/stop button for at least 3 seconds. This should reset the started cycle, and you can make a new choice. If this dont help, it could be a faulty control board

Hi My Hotpoint WF540 1400 spin is stopping mid cycle and not draining, rinsing and spinning unless I stop the cycle and choose just rinse and spin. Any suggestions? sarah

Probably needs the filter cleaning.
Remove lower rear panel.
Remove large black hose onto drum.
Remove and clean filter inside hose.
Remove hose onto pump, and check for obstruction here and in the pump itself.
Please rate my solution.
Thanks.

We have a Hoover select 1500 washing machine. It still washes and rinses ok, but doesn't then move onto the spin cycle. But I can manually set the dial to spin and restart it. It then spins fine. I assume...

Could be but also could be rinse water valve not operating due to faulty solonoid. it does a final rinse / softner before spinning if valve faulty then no spin advance....

Kenmore front-load washer stops at rinse cycle

When the washer initially fills for the wash, is it only hot water entering the drum? Try switching the water temperature between hot and cold as it fills. If any of them show little or no water getting through, it sounds too easy but check to make sure water supply taps are on, and that the cold/hot fill hoses aren't reversed. Remove the fill hoses and check any of the screen filters for blockage (in the hoses and in the inlet water valve). When the machine stops and waits to fill but all you hear is a hum, it sounds like there is power going to the valve but water is not able to get through it.
Good luck!

Bosch classixx 1000 washing machine - stops on spin

Washing machine stops at the spin cycle - light flashes. Have to drain water out manually. Happened last week and was then able to run an empty rinse cycle. Machine worked normally for another week. Same problem today but have had to drain water manually from the drum after trying an empty 90 wash and rinse cycle (both stopped on the Spin and flashed). Any ideas? Thanks. x

Asko w6221 front load washer stops after wash cycle

Do all of your cycles work when you turn them manually? If one cycle does not work when you turn the dial on it then it will be your timer (The dial assembly $100-up) If all your cycles work manually, then it could be your timer motor which is attached to your timer assembly. If you turn the dial pass the wash, on to the rinse, does the dial automaticly move (when finishng the rinse cycle)to the spin cycle? If so then your timer motor is ok. The only wires close to the bottom are the motor, but these should be high enough out of the way.
