Question about Black & Decker String Trimmer Cordless 12" 18V
When I've been using the weed wacker to attack the tall weeds, grass spools on the spindle and I have to disassemble the whole machine to clean it out. Is there a way I can remove just the housing for the wire to expose the spindle and slip off the accumulated grass?
Thanks for the effort but the problem I'm having is not electrical. It is that long grasses build up on the spindle and drag the rpm down to almost nothing. I have to clean the grass out but I can't find a way to do this without taking the case off.

The last time I used the weed wacker it kept stopping-almost like a short. The battery is fully charged and has a lot of power when working. Would the problem be in the handle and can that be taken apart to see if there is a loose wire?
