Question about ASUS EAH5770 CuCore/2DI/1GD5, (1 GB) PCI Express Video Card
When you have removed and reinserted the card the video driver got severely corrupted - this was the absolute worse thing you could have done, never do it again, the modern drivers have the capability to reduce the power consumption of every modern video card when not fully used.
Since i don't know how big the damage to the video driver and Windows is i don't know if it will be fixed simply by uninstalling, 2 reboots and reinstalling of the video driver. Most likely you will have to perform a full reinstall of Windows.
