-This is very common problem especially if you haven't use it. -check out if you still have the Original Operating System disk and its case -usually the Serial Key or Product Key is listed on the case itself -if you don't have the case then look for the Original OSCD on that disk there is a serial # on the middle that was stamped by Microsoft -contact Microsoft depending on your location there is a specific phone # but you can try this 1-8000- Microsoft (642-7676) -you can also try to call them if you have registered your computer the first time you use it. -if you are using a OEM computer such as DELL, HP, SONY you may try to call their hotline and ask them if you can have a copy of the OSCD since those disk will not ask you for a Product Key -if this options are not possible then I don't think there will be anybody here that can help you. -you may need to buy a new Operating System
