It is the Sensor attached to the Water heating compartment (Element) on the Dishwasher.

It is attached to the Circulation pump.

Check the temperature. (Test Mode) If the temperature is displayed, adjust the Inlet Water Temperature to 120 . If the temperature is not displayed, check the wiring connection. check the electric resistance of Thermistor. (11~14k at 77 ) Replace the PCB.

SOURCE: I have an LG dishwasher model 6810ST that comes up

LE means ( Motor error ) Condition : The motor is working abnormally. Possible cause : Wiring connections. The impeller of washing pump is locked. The rotor of washing motor is locked. The blade is locked.

You'll have to disassemble the unit and make sure nothing is stuck in the pump or locking the blade.

Otherwise you may have a loose wiring connector

LG dishwasher LDF modle 7811st error code tE just gives erroe code will not start.

TE error code means Thermistor Fault or Inlet Water Temp too High.

Check the resistance of the thermistor (located on the bottom of the unit in between 2 orange wires with single spade connectors which is the heating element) and it was good 11.7K ohms at 71 degrees room temp. Take the front door off and trace wiring. There is a white plastic wire loom and approx.6" up check the wiring being melted in the black mastic. The thermistor wiring is red and dark blue.

Generally, some lose or broken wires cause this. Keep us updated.

Dishwasher will not run and its showing a code of tE. Any idea what the problem might be ?

The thermistor is located between the terminals of the heater and comes as part of the heater assembly. You will need to pull out the entire dishwasher to replace it. The heater assy is stuck into the side of the sump, you can access it from the bottom of the d/w once ou have it out. The only source of parts in the US I know of is LG in Huntsville AL.
