you must set the base time as well as the handset time
enter global setup menu then
time and date submenu
then vol. up / down for day
then minute pressind save each time

Its one of two things.
1) the phone company needs to correct the caller id signal sent to your phone, or
2) the base unit is going bad and cannot proccess the caller ID signals.
Call the phone company and ask them to check your caller id coding first.
