Is your ESC/speed control. Hooked up properly and working? That is what should be controlling your throttle.
Thanks,

What happens if you apply 12v to the contact at the steering wheel, that would test the harness?
Next is to trace that wire to the next cable plug down the harness and try again. Process of elimination that you are already on.

Back Speakers don't work.

Change the radio if it looks worse than the speakers. Or, go buy some junkyard speakers and try them out. If none of this works, sell the car.

Runs but only when applying pressure to the steering wheel

sound like loose wires to the ignition switch in the steering column. just remove steering column shroud and lower the steering column check the ignition switch wires.first disconnect negative battery cable before working on ignition switch. either switch wires loosen or switch could be bad.

Power steering fails when car is not getting gas.

power steering only works when motor is running. If car is running and you are having this problem it could be as simple as low power steering fluid...have it check...good luck and hope this helps some.

I would strongly recommend you take it back to the dealer and complain. If they failed to put the column back correctly and you have someone else work on it, you void any warranty from the dealer.

Poor throttle response

Drive to your closest AutoZone and have them perform a FREE diagnostic scan. You appear to have a bad intake air temperature sensor, faulty ignition system or a mass air flow sensor problem.

The diagnostic scan will immediately pinpoint the problem. If either one needs to be replace, you can do-it-yourself in about fifteen minutes even if you have no mechanical experience

Power steering light came on and nobody can give my daughter an answer, she has been told that the system is sealed, is that true ??

the system is actually electrically assisted, basically an electric motor applies force to help you steer instead of a conventional hydraulic system that worked fine for years. ever since these came out they have had problems with the electronics in the column overheating, turning the wheel alot sitting still overheats them quickly, and also turning till the wheel stops and applying pressure. as far as I know gm is already starting a recall on several models with electric steering so make sure you check in with your local dealer for any open recalls which will be performed at no cost to you

No power steering

Hi: Check to Make sure your power Steering belt is on still. Also check the Power Steering fluid level is in your power steering canister. If its Low Fill it Up then Start your Jeep moving steering wheel back and Forth,Look to see if you have Power Steering Fluid Leaking Anywhere.Last thing i can think of is your power steering filter is plugged up.Not Very Common. So If All the Above Fails. I'd Say your Power Steering Pump Stopped Working. Hope This Has Helped you. Please let me Know how Much my Solutions Helped.Thank You. From ==d_hubbs
