Take the two speakers and connect them positve to positive and negative to negative. This will make the pair a two ohm set. Good Luck.

How to repair kenwood KFC-ws253 subs

Hi there,

This usually means the voice coils have burnt out also.

When I was with Kenwood, it wasn't worth spending the time to repair units that had been overdriven (i.e. burnt out).

Wiring Kenwood KFC-W3003

If it's a single voice coil, it's probably 4 ohms. the sub only handles about 175w RMS, so don't expect earth shattering bass to come out of it. A single voice coil is easy. Positive from the amp to the positive post of the sub, negative from the amp to negative post of the sub. This sub sounds lots better if it's in a sealed enclosure. A ported enclosure allows too much cone movement, heating up the coils, and the sub fails prematurely. Hope this helps.

I hooked up a 2-Ohm dual voice coil 800 watt max 12" Kicker CVR subwoofer and 4-Ohm single voice coil 1000 watt max 12" Kenwood KFC subwoofer to 1000 watt Kenwood Ampilifer. After hooking it up, the Kicker...

off the same amp? you have two way different sounding speakers man. you can buy 2 identical speakers from the same company and brand and series and they will play differently every time. you have 2 speakers with nothing in common so you will hear a difference and maybe interference because of the different ohm levels.

Does this boss chaos c550 amp match up to perform correctly with 2 12inch kenwood peak power 600 watt magnet 500g (17.6)oz impedence 4 ohm kfc-w300s speakers

It's not bad, but at 400 watts, it's a bit underpowered
It'll be plenty loud, but the amp will distort before the speakers do, particularly if your subs are wired in parallel (as dual-driver boxes are typically wired)

Listen for distortion, and turn it down a bit if the sound gets fuzzy or static-y sounding

I NEED TO KNOW HOW TO WIRE THREE 3012 THWELVES TO A 1800 WATT KENWOOD AMP

Its hard to tell what you can or cant do without knowing exactly which kenwood amp you are using. Generally speaking though most kenwood amps are stable only down to 2 ohms. you will be better off just using 2 of your 12s wired in parallel- that will give you a 2 ohm load. There is a way to use all 3 simply by wiring them in series, it will end up giving you a 12 ohm load on the amp though which will work fine but you wont ever achieve the full power that the amp can do.

If they fit then put them in. The only thing is, if your not using a amp they may not sound good.

Powering 4 6x9 speakers, need amp

Hi firstof all your deck isnt really putting out 52 watts x4 more like 17-22w rmsx4 ,companies like to throw out some crazy numbers it seems. If your into Kenwood try out a KAC-8404 4-channel on the mids/highs that will put 50 w x4 rms at 4 ohms or if you wanna go a lil louder try the kenwood x600f that will throw 100w rms on each 6x9 at 4 ohms no problem. My system is very similar to yours but running 4 pioneer 5x7's in all the doors and powering it with the 8404 its loud and clean ,fan cooled and no problems at all. My subs are a pair of 15's soundstream t-4's powered by an Alphasonik pma2500a its throwing 800w rms on each sub running in stereo at 2 ohms.It can drown out the mids if i set it that way but my mids /highs cant take as much power as your kenwoods can or else id step up to the x600f too.

I need to know how to wire my 2 12' kenwood w3514 dvc sub woofers parellel

For parallel connections, simply wire posotive to positive and negative to negative. But beware! this lowers the impedence (ohms) by half. In other words if you have 4 ohm woofers, in parallel they would be two ohms. Make sure your amp can handle that. Otherwise connect them in series.

Kenwood KAC-X1R and one 12" Kenwood KFC-XW1222D at 1 ohm blow out.Why is that happening?

You may have a high resistance in your positive or negative power supply. with your amp you need to use at least a 2 gauge power cable. Is your fuse blowing? if so then a short circuit to ground may be causing that.
Good luck
