Question about Office Equipment & Supplies

1 Answer

My canon LBP5200 does all the usual whirring and stuff as if its about to print, when the paper feed normally starts instead the alarm light flashes and the following shows on screen :- Printer error. Try to turn the printer on again after turning off the power and waiting 3 seconds. If a service error is displayed even with the printer turned off and then on again, turn off the printer and contact the service representative where you purchased the printer. When contacting the service representative, inform them of the error code displayed and symptoms.Error Code : E000

Error message E 2 's flashing .. what should i do?

If the alarm light is solid amber E2 indicates a paper feed error.
This can usually be cleared easily.
If the Power light and Alarm light are flashing green and amber then the E2 indicates an error requiring Canon servicing might have incurred.. If after disconnection it reappears then it looks like a bin job as nobody on the internet appears to have any solution for this one and anything involving Canon would be as much as a new printer.

Canon PIXMA Pro 9500. When I try to print a photograph it prints the first 10mm and then ejects the paper, the fault light flashes twice. All the test functions such as the nozzle check, head alignment and...

The photo paper is a little stiffer than bond, you usually just need to clean the feed roller with a damp rag to restore grip. When it ejects like that it usually means the paper is getting in too late due to slippage of the feed roller.

Alarm light blinking

Could be any number of things, carriage error, paper feed error, printhead gone out, even a logic pcb error, you need a shop to define the error, not enough to go on.
