Going You can call Pride Mobility @ 1-800-800-8586 ask for Jazzy Tech Support and you can goto to download a user manual for your chair The cord you are talking about Is it the cord from the joystick to the base or the cord that is in the base? The cord from the joystick cannot be replaced so you have to get a new joystick. If you have a voltmeter set it to 200 vdc and plug the leads into the 2 outter holes of the charger port located under the front of the joystick If the wire is bad you will not read any voltage If you have 25-28 volts at the charger port then you have power and the problem could be in the joystick itself or the on/off button. If you have no power reading at the charger port you might want to check the voltage at the batteries fully charged you should read 14-16 volts on each battery if you are reading less than 9 volts on each battery then you don't have enough power to turn the chair on and need to replace your batteries Hope this helps

I would like to find out how I can order a replacement arm rest

depending on what chair you have the cheapest option is to try and get a generic replacement, search eBay for "wheelchair arm rest" they start from around 10 UK pounds or you might be able to find one from the same make and model.
if not then you need to search the web for the make and model of chair you have followed by "parts arm rest" so if you have a pride jazzy 1121 you would search google for "pride jazzy 1121 parts arm rest" that should point you to a replacment, if no joy there another option is to contact the makers, again search for maker to find contact info, or look for a dealer that sells the make of chair you have.

if this helps please click "yes" to let others know.

Jazzy 600 stops all of a sudden while driving, chair icon and wrench icon on romote appears

Likely 2, 3, 4 or 5 bar flash code. If motors are made by a company like "ELE...." then motor wiring is likely bad inside wire insulation where wires go into motor cap. Rebuild motors and try again. This is a common problem with these motors.

Controller arm has loose wires

That controller is expensive and needs to be reprogrammed after repairs. I'd let a service and repair center do the work. You just can't jump in and fix it yourself without that programmer.

the 7 lights indicate a joystick problem which means the joystick/controller will have to be replaced since there is no self repair fix Unless you can locate a good used joystick/controller for cheap (around $600.00 rebuilt) I would return the chair and get my money back Hope this helps

My arm has a short or wire crossed

Unfortunately, most electrical problems cannot be fixed by the end user. Contact Pride for assistance as the controller may need to be replaced. If your insurance purchased the power chair for you, they may also pay for repairs.
Good luck!

Power chair worked when we bought it from previous owner but has set for awhile, we pluged it in to charge the chair as it would not work, charged for lenght of time book said but still will not run

If the chair sets for several weeks the batteries will wear down to the point that they cannot be recharged. Have the batteries load tested and I bet that this will fix the problem.

I have a Jazzy power chair on loan and there is no instructiion book. How do I recharge the chair? I know I plug it in but do nmot know if it is actually recharging, Thanks

Be sure to charge the chair at least 8 hours each time. If you use it charge it. If you charge it less than 8 hours than it starts taking away from the life of the battery.
