Question about Video Game Consoles & Games
Does this happen with any game? If it happens with multilpe games and other uses (browsing internet, playing media) then you might have an overheating problem. Either you have it in a hot environment or a relatively closed off space. Try to make sure the fans have the space to move air through the unit.
Another possibility: one of the fans not working. Your options: have the unit repaired or do the work yourself.
Last and least likely, a problem with the power supply components (voltage regulators, etc). If your ps2 is not under warranty, that could cost you to fix, or might not even be worth it.
