Obviously I can't tell for sure but it sure sounds like the ram might be slighly bent therefore it will push hard against one side of the packing not allowing it to extend easily. In time it wears out the packing causing a leak. When you had it proffessionally done it most likely received new packing kit which could make the problem slightly worse because the fresh packing will be a little tighter than the packing that was replaced.

If not a bent ram then you may have a bad releif valve in that peticular hydraulic circut that doesn't close, or open which ever the case might be, thereby not pressuring up the end of the cylinder that pushes the ram out.

I am in desperate need of a service manual for my Komatsu PC 112-u excavator. Free, reasonable cost or pay for a photocopy even.

Do a Google search for a manual. There are many sites where you can download and even print your manual for free.

Takeuchi mini digger tracking problem

Pressure valve? does it only do it to only one side? Left or right. The reason you move both tracks with the bucket running is because you relieve pressure. One side is free wheeling, As they call it. I work on cars, But also have done to many hydraulic components. You have a pressure control valve that is bad.

PC 300 LC-3 serial #13848 what year would that be

Hi Gervin:
Your question appeared in the Washing Machines sections.
A Komatsu log loader would make one wild clothes washer, although somewhat overpowered.
- My excavators have the year stamped in the I.D. plate next to the serial number.
- If you can't find it I would suggest that you contact your nearest Komatsu dealer and ask them.

Kubota la 723 bucket dump cylinders are sinking no leaks

If the rams in the cylinders are moving without any control operation it means either of two things. --- the piston bucket seals in the cylinders are failing and the oil is by-passing the piston or there is a badly worn cylinder which amounts to the same thing or the control valves are leaking at the seats and allowing oil to by-pass back to the tank. To check the piston seals push the rams all the way out. Loosen off the pipe at the seal end and if the piston seals are leaking there will be a fluid flow from that line . If the seals are good there will be no oil flow.. That way you will know if it is the cylinder/ piston problem or control valves.

Can any body tell me how to refit the rubber on komatsu 36 digger

There is going to be a track adjuster-sort of looks like a nut with a grese zerk in the middle of it. You back this nut off to let grease escape from the adjuster, and using the bucket on the machine try to force the idler back into the trackframe. This will give you the clearance you need to reinstall the track ( with the help of a bar). Once the track is back in position, tighten the nut you loosened, then pump the zerk back up with grease until you reach the desired tension. The location of that nut and zerk is listed in your owners manual under track maintenance. Hope this helps. Marvin

Digger support

Search local home and garden stores to find a post hole digger. Many department stores sell post hole diggers too. A local greenhouse or tractor supply store is also a good place to look for a post hole digger. Decide on he type of digger you'll need for the job. Although post hole diggers come in different sizes and types, they generally dig the same size hole. Know that it takes a lot of strength to dig holes with a post hole digger, but there are a diggers available with special features that allow someone not quite as strong to use the digger too. Pick up and examine the different post hole diggers while you're shopping. Compare the feel and weight of the tools. Pretend to dig holes and see how it handles. Compare the features and designs of different post hole diggers. Most are manufactured from fiberglass or steel, but some have a different shaped handles for specific digging jobs. Determine if you'd rather have a fiberglass handle or a wooden one. Fiberglass is lighter and more resistent to sun damage than wooden handles. Select a post hole digger based on your preferences, the job required and who'll be using the tool. Plan to spend more on a post hole digger that's made from steel or for heavy duty use. The range for a post hole digger is generally under $50.

Leaks when dispensing

I think I just pulled off an effective fix on mine... went from leaking all over the counter to no leaks in the last three pots.. not sure if we have the same model.. in fact I don't even know what model I have... it's a plain white unit with a singe button. Anyway, here's what I did:

  • Remove the bucket
  • Turn bucket over
  • On my unit, the bucket itself is mounted inside of the white outer trim, and the assembly is held together by four recessed phillips screws. Remove those four screws and seperate the bucket from the outer shell.
  • Reach into the bucket and pull the rubber gasket seal from the dispenser.
  • On the bottom of the bucket, raise the dispenser lever until the spring pops out.
  • Stretch the spring a bit.. not too much, you want to be able to put it back!
  • Clean the gasket seal and the gasket seating surface.
  • Put it all back together :)

The stretched spring causes the gasket to seal more tightly than it did before, and in my case, stopped the leaks.
