Here is the link to your driver. Click HERE. Select the nVidia all in one driver. You can complete your recovery w/o installing anything yet. When you are done download this driver and install it.

Toshiba satellite L300 will not boot up. error code 0xc00000e9

What you can do is attempt to repair the system using System Restore or startup repair. I would suggest trying startup repair first.

Method 1: Use the Windows Recovery Environment (WinRE) to run System Restore

======================================================

1. Insert the Windows Vista or Windows 7 installation disc into the disc drive, and then start the computer.

2. Press a key when the message indicating "Press any key to boot from CD or DVD ...". appears.

3. Select a language, a time and currency, and a keyboard or input method, and then click Next.

4. Click Repair your computer.

5. In the System Recovery Options dialog box, choose the drive of your Windows installation and click Next

6. At the System Recovery Options Dialog Box, click on System Restore.

7. Follow the System Restore Wizard instruction as usual and choose the appropriate restore point.

8. Click Finish to restore the system.

Method 2: Startup Repair from the Windows Recovery Environment (WinRE)

======================================================

5. In the System Recovery Options dialog box, choose the drive of your Windows installation and click Next.

6. At the System Recovery Options Dialog Box, click on Repair your computer.

7. (Click the operating system that you want to repair), and then click Next.

8. In the System Recovery Options dialog box, click Startup Repair.

Hope this helps

My hp pavillion laptop came with with windows vista installed, no disc. it is now corrupted. i do not have a recovery disc. Can i download a repair disc from your website?

No stevecummo, as FixYa does not provide this service.

However you can contact HP Support, and obtain the Restoration disk.

In the USA for example,

1) The Restoration disk is free. The shipping and handling is not.
$17 for a 5 to 7 day ship, $24 for a 2 to 3 day ship.
Call 1-800-474-6836 to speak to a representative. (24 hours a day, 7 days a week)

Have the Product Number written down from the white Service Tag, on the bottom of the laptop, to give to the representative.

http://welcome.hp.com/country/us/en/contact/phone_assist.html

For those outside the USA here is the HP Support Worldwide contact information,

http://welcome.hp.com/country/us/en/wwcontact_us.html

Laptop on, insert the Restoration disk in the optical drive.

When asked perform a;

1) Non-Destructive Installation: (Repair)
For repairing the basic Windows files. Saves the personal information you have on the laptop.

2) Destructive Installation: (Full Installation)
Deletes all personal information saved.

Takes the computer back to day 1 when it came from the factory.

Help my hp dv2000 just keeps restarting??

Hi,

As the computer is working in safe mode, it is clear that operating system files are corrupt.

Perform a repair installation, if it is Windows XP.

For Vista or Windows 7, you can perform system restore from recovery console. To launch recovery console, insert the disc- restart the computer and boot into the disc. Choose repair in the options tab, then choose system restore from the list.

Nags

Ethernet Drivers (slow internet access)?

the fastest speed is the slowest path on the network.
right click on the my network place.
right click on the NIC local connection
click on configuration at the right of the connect using (NIC)
second tab, "advanced" check the speed & duplex- it should be auto, but you can change it. do not recommend it.
check resources- make sure it has no conflect with any other device.
if that doesn't help. uninstall the NIC driver and try to find a older driver. Sometime that works better, don't ask me, but it works.

Nvidia nforcennetwork bus installation disk #1

Hi,
I have encountered the same problem with a repair to XP PRO Setup - repair due to a virus, where I didn't want to reinstall from scratch because of the programs that were already installed on C drive. The quickest way to circumvent is to hit Cancel (ensure you have a USB or PS2 mouse - wireless will freeze) repeatedly when provided with this prompt. You will receive other error messages prompting for other things later the process. With hitting Cancel at all of these prompts, Win XP Pro installed fine, and I was able to re-install the latest drivers for the motherboard and video card after Windows XP booted up.

Audio driver installation failed from mother board cd

The most common solution was this: open device manager click "system devices" disable "microsoft UAA bus driver for high definition audio" uninstall "UAA bus driver" make rescan devices (Note: Not all had this step. You may want to skip it.) D.W. install realtek driver the realtek driver includes the UAA driver too.Hope this helps.
