Question about Amana Dryers
The belt is stretched out of its original shape. You will need to replace the belt along with the idler pulley. Sears has these parts in a kit form with instructions. The rear section were the top attaches to has a screw with a hinged metal peice which needs to be removed from each side of the back. Tiilt the top towards the front and pry up on the two front corners to remove the top. Then the front panel is removed undoing the sheet metal screws. The drum slides out and now you can access the belt and idler pulley. That a picture of it before removing the pulley with the belt on for reference
