Do you have a computer also connected to the router? If so, does it have an internet connection? If so, is your computer connected wired or wireless?
If not, can you get access to a computer that you can connect to the router?
Try to reset your psp system settings->Turn on your PSP. Scroll to the left from the main menu and stop on the "Settings" option. Press the "X" button. Scroll down to "System Settings" and press "X" again. Press the "X" key over "Restore Default Settings." Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the restore.

Keep in mind that an open network, one that doesn't have any password requirement, is riskier for regular computer usage, but a ton easier for us Sony PSP fans wanting to get onto the Internet.

Metallic surfaces between you and the wireless can cause issues with connections, as will certain other electronics and thick concrete. Try it right next to your router. I suggest to check out some of your local coffee shops, computer stores, and even small business centers or hotels to see if you can find an open network to use.

Other comments are if you sure you are connecting to your router? If your wireless router is anywhere in sight, you should get 100% signal. I've never used a Mac, so I dont know how to make sure you are connected to the right access point. But I think this is what happened. You have a wireless encryption on your router (if you never set up one, it should be manufaturer's default, refer to your router manual); but since you can't accesses that without password, your Mac automatically connected to the next available connection without any encryption.

Good luck.

My PSP internet connection not supported to my access point.

The SSID is the NAME of your Routers connection. So you need to know your WiFi connections Name, That's the "Access point" Security, Is IF you assigned a WEP/WAP KEY, when the router was first setup. If NO Key is set, that is what it means "Unsecured",
You need to get a Netgear router manual, for your exact model, it shows all in pictures how to do it.

The problem was probably McDonald's and not your PSP's. Have you tried connecting to a different signal?

WMA is related to Windows Media Player files and not the internet.

Bad connection

Hi i'm ryan, To play online you will need to be close to a wifi location. If you have the internet you will need a wireless router to connect the PSP to. I just recently got a wireless router and since its in the house i have 100% signal connection. If you are using a wifi that you are picking up that is not yours the signal might be weak, or interupted and you will loose connection.
