You have a laptop - and you have the num-lk on.

Hold down the 'FN' key while pressing the 'num lk' key.

The 'num lk' key is usually right after the F12 key on the laptop key keyboard.

I have a casio te-400f displaying E001 wrong mode message. I didnt intrupt a process so switching the key back to allow it to complete is not working. Any ideas?? I have no till this morning!!!!

Hi. It only happens when a function is not complete in another mode, so it will definitely be waiting for completion of last function. Since you don't know what it was, you can flag clear it to jump back to REG mode:
Turn key to PROGRAM mode.Turn power off at wall.Hold RECEIPT FEED down - keep your finger on it.Turn power on at wall.Wait 5 seconds, then let go of RECEIPT FEED.You should see "FFFFFFFFFF" on display.Press SUBTOTAL.wait for printout.Turn key back to REG mode.Note: You may have to sign back on (clerk buttons)
If anyone needs more information, the Casio TE-4000f manual is here:

I just bought aused casio PCR-T275 and went through the programming but when I go to ring up a sale I get an E. I did not program the PLU's I just want to put in the dollar amount and add the sales tax...

You don't need PLUs for what you want. Try turning key to REG mode type price in dollars and cents NO DECIMAL POINT e.g $5.80 = 580 Now press one of the department buttons, then press CASH (CA)
Did it work? If not, tell me when the error happened

Only apple display on the screen.

Assuming you're running Tiger or Lepard, this will tell you what's wrong. If it's an older OS/hardware config, I won't be able to help much.

Boot into manual drive selection. I think the command is holding the apple key and C key while powering on. Check with your resaler, as they probably have a Mac Tech that works there and will know the command for sure.

If this doesn't work, you're logic board has gone bad. If it does work, but doesn't show your HDD but does show the optical drive, then your HDD has gone bad. If it doesn't show the optical drive either, your IDE controller has gone bad. If it does show your HDD, then your software is corrupt, and will need to be reinstalled.

Sharp XE-A203

The XE-A203 does not use error numbers. It should tell you what is wrong in words. The 202 does use numbers. An error 2 on a 202 model just means you pressed the wrong buttons.
Can you please check the model number on the machine and make sure it is a 203? Also, does it do it as soon as you turn the key to REG? What happens if you try the key in other modes?
Please try to give me as much info as you can, and we can try to sort it out.

I keep getting error messages when entering my product key number.

Please mention about the message you are getting. And what product key you are typing ? The product key that you are entering may be wrong or its outdated. If yo can tell that product name then i would give you the exact product key. Thank you....

Keyboard not found..

well despite the fact you have given up on me when we were attempting to troubleshoot your problem here is one more thing to try and it can't hurt... swap your keyboard to the ps/2 port you use your mouse on and plug your mouse where your keyboard was. the key here is that when you move the computer to another room... you would have to unplug the keyboard and mouse each time. swap them and see what it does.

Just purchased the labtec wireless keyboard.Love it! But one thing i can't figure out. The buttons across the top, they all work perfect except the e-mail button. Nothing happens when i push it. Am i doing...

That was what I was asking.
Most of the time, the email key on keyboards is programed to open Outlook (which is part of MS Office).
Being that Hotmail is an online email program, it really doesn't know "how to get there from here".
You can try reprogramming that key to go to the Hotmail login.
You will find the steps in the control panel of the keyboard (if you loaded the software that came with the keyboard, it contains the links to how to do this).
It would be similar to telling it to go to a IE favorite, but in this case, it would go to

Now if you have Outlook on your computer, and you have configured Outlook to "reach into" Hotmail to retrieve your mail, here again, it's just a matter of programming that key to go to your version of Outlook.

Its very hard to tell without seeing the computer, but, can you remember what happened the last time you ran it normally? What OS (operating system i.e. windows 98, windows xp, mac osx etc?)Try using a anti-virus software, but the last resort is to back up everything you want to, on CD or USB keys etc, and re install your operating system. This you can do from a CD you may have gotten with the computer, or, you may have to buy an operating system :(
If you can provide me with as much information as you can, I'll try and help (even if it seems irrelevant)
