Question about RIM BlackBerry Pearl 8100
You will need to reload the operating system of the device.
Make sure you backup the phone however you can. Put as much stuff on the SD card or SIM card as much as you can.
The device operating system will depend on your carrier, you will need to download the operating system from there. Wipe the device, connect it to your computer and it should recognize it.
When Connected select USB PIN: UNKNOWN (If the device still cannot connect to the computer, there may be a windows side driver problem, or more likely there is something wrong with the BB hardware.)
Start the Apploader from the BB desktop Manager
Select a Reinstall of the OS. It will take about an hour to reinstall the OS.
