Hello, I dont think you can see it there indecating. ]ut through the computer you can, by when it and it shows you that the ink is low.

If you used the CD to load the drivers for your printer, in the lower right corner of your monitor you should see some small icons. One is the HP Status Indicator icon. When you touch the icons, they pop a little title box that tells you what it is.

Once you find your status indicator, double click on it. A control panel of sorts should pop up and ink functions should be there.

I have a psc 1209 all in one and I can no longer save to pdf. I used it but all of a sudden it no longer is an option. How do I get it back?


There got be some program collusion.

I would re-install the printer and try back.

If you would like to save money, try refill kit by "ROADINK".

Cannot install the driver in Windows 7 for an HP PSC 1209 printer. Works fine with XP.


Go to hp.com and see if there is a driver for Win 7 and your printer. Vista might work. Otherwise you are SOL

I have a hp psc 1310 series printer and i can not find the site to check the ink levels. The book says to use the hp director on page 28.

to check the ink levels go to hp director in your computer START>ALL PROGRAMS> HP or HP DIRECTOR. Click on PRINTER SETTINGS>TOOLBOX. and then view the estimated ink level of the print cartridges

Try the software ways if the unit is connected with pc ( windows)

Open hp director, Click setting on the top> Then click print settings>Printer tool box> Estimated ink level...

Thats it.....
