Question about Clarion Car Audio & Video
I am sorry but we do not provide radio unlocking codes. These codes are available from the dealer or the manufacturer of the radio and some online radio unlock services (factory installed radio's only). There is allot of misinformation about radio anti-theft codes. Here is what the truth of the matter is.
If this is a non factory radio you must contact Clarion directly to unlock the radio, they will very likely need proof of ownership as they are an anti-theft feature on their radio's. The code is inputted like a PIN code by the original purchaser of the radio, it is the same as a PIN code.
If the radio is factory installed the radio has a unique code assigned to it based on the VIN of the car and the radio chassis serial number, the code was provided to the buyer of the car when it was new on a small card. The code is stored at the factory computer, the dealer can access this for you.
