Question about Sanyo Televison & Video
If you have more than one inputs for the sound, like RCA or HDMI change the settings of the device connected to the TV or the TV and select the option for sound if you want it via the RCA or hdmi.
If the device works with another TV, it may be a problem with the TV. If this is still in warranty see if a software upgrade is available.

SOURCE: Sound and picture won't always
It's not your TV. It is your data stream coming from the converter box. Audio is processed and sent very easily whereas video takes processing time, hence the delay. If you have separated you audio from video utilizing an external surround sound system, you must channel your video through the same processor. Very complicated if you don't know how to do all this stuff. Could originate with your provider as well. Cable, satellite, uverse, cat, coax, etc.
