You will need to steam the debris out. Place a microwave proof dish half full of water and two tablespoons of white vinegar into the microwave. Heat on high for two minutes. Let this sit for two or three minutes then heat again for thirty seconds. Take a warm damp towel and then try to remove the marshmellow. Don't use a paper towel or sponge. Keep boiling the water/vinegar and rubbing with the damp towel until everything is removed. Its going to take a while but you will eventually get it all.

My hose is on the suction side of the Ridgid Dry Vac but its still blowing out of the other hole. How do I fix this?

it is supposed to blow out the other hole. in order for a vacuum cleaner to suck things up, it also takes in air. That air passes thru a filter leaving the debris inside the canister, and then exits thru the other hole.

Euro-Pro Shark Steam Mop Problem

Heating up but not producing steam. Tank may be furred up as limescale deposits in water when tank emptied.

OK. This is an actual guaranteed solution to the Shark "No Steam" problem. The problem is well documented as hard water clogs the steam mops head. And using distilled water should prevent problem (not confirmed). But now that you have the problem, how do you unclog?

First off, Ive had two now. And my solution probably invalidates 1 year warranty, but I'm not interested in going through all the rigamarole of taking my mop back to the store. Maybe yours has expired or you want solution now like me.

This requires a drill. If you've tried the white vinegar route like me and it hasn't worked, and the toothpick, now it's time to get serious.

Remove the four screws. Then slide connection back and remove final two screws. Try blowing thru the small round hole at the end of the connector. If you can't blow through it, the smallest choke point near the hole is your problem.

Using the smallest drill bit in the standard drill set (not sure the size but it fits easily in the hole with room to spare) drill gently into the hole until it breaks thru the first resistance. Now blow through the hole. It should blow through easily now. Run some white vinegar thru to loosen up and remove other hard water deposits if you like.

Replace nozel. Replace two screws, Replace 4 screws. Done.

Use only bottled distilled water from now on would probably be a good idea.

In my opinion the problem is a design flaw built in by the Shark people. Appropriate name. Its called planned obsolescence. :( It breaks, you buy a new mop head (or entire mop if you can't find their part's website.)
