Replacement of cord for a 3.5 amp 1/2 in. Crafstman drill

that's surprising, as sears usually can solve those issues....anyways....you can just get num14 grounded wire, to length you need and that will cover the amps you're using for that drill and a bit more.you'll have to re-use the rubber grommets, or improvise one from something else....like perhaps a roll of soft rubber wrap made into a grommet!!!

I need to replace a cord on an old Craftsman 1/2" drill

A lot of times B&D makes molded cords that work with Craftsman stuff. Look up a service center near you and take the cord in to see if they can match it up with something they have. (Take the drill in too.)

I need to replace the Rack on a Delta 16 1/2 inch Drill press, model 17925. Do I need to pull the drill head or is there an easier way ?

I looked at a schematic and owners manual for a 17-950, COULDN'T find the one you listed and if I am not mistaken I believe there is a collar holding the rack in position and if you snug the table or somehow keep from falling you can loosen the collar and using the height adjustment move the rack so you can remove it. BUT I also found a dedicated help line that I would suggest calling first about this and the number is 1-800-223-7278.

Pro-Tech 10" drill press model 10162. Quill travel adjustable?

There is probably a depth stop collar with a thumbscrew on the shaft which has the three handles attached to it. This collar would be about two inches in diameter. All you have to do is loosen the thumbscrew.

The chuck on my craftsman 8" drill press wobbles. How can I stop it from wobbling?? Can I get a manual for my drill. thanks. billybee3@yahoo.com

There are a couple of different ways that drill chucks are attached on smaller tools. You didn't specify the model, so I can't help much. But here is a link to where you can usually find manuals for Craftsman. If the press is not too old, you will probably be able to find the manual here.

How to switch to hammer on dc935

Turn the black clutch adjusting collar all the way to the hammer symbol. It will be just past the Drill symbol on the collar. Then when you press the bit against the material you will feel the vibrations.

Craftsman 10" bench drill press chuck wobbles

If this is a new tool I would take it back and get it replaced. The only other way to eliminate this problem is to determine if it is the spindle or the chuck and replace the defective unit. Warranty works better.

Chuck is locked in open position

What you can try is some WD 40 spray into the chuck and then find a GOOD pair of gloves or a rag and hold the collar of the chuck either by hand or use the rag and a pair of channel locks to protect it and then use the tool motor slowly and see if that doesn't release it
