Question about Dell Dimension C521 PC Desktop
Try unplugging the cord & resetting the bios by moving jp1 for 15 secs. Them to be sure, remove the bios battery for another 10 secs. Put the battery back, plug it in & see if you get a screen. If you do, press delete to enter BIOS. Rest the time & date & anything else you messed with. If it shuts down again, you're overheating the cpu. Meaning, the fan/heatasink isn't seated all the way or you need to apply new grease/thermal paste. If the latter is required, get artic silver or better. Remove all old grease/paste with a rag. Then re assemble. It takes about 30-60 secs for the cpu to shut down with in adequate cooling.
