Dell Latitude e5410...brightness changes from dim to bright on it's own. Not using battery powered. What could be going on?

Anonymous,
Press the Fn + Left arrow key on laptop keyboard to disable Ambient Light Sensor to see if that will resolve the issue. Follow the steps in article http://dell.to/13f7ugH to adjust the brightness manually.

Dell studio touch keys won't work. the eject button stays lit and none of the media keys above the keyboard work when this happens.

Shut down your computer, remove AC power, remove the battery for about a minute. Put the battery back in, hold the power button for 30 seconds. This should reset it.
