Fuel hose from the tank with the filter on the end goes to the fuel inlet on the carb ( nearest to the pump cover held eith a single screw ) then tak a pipe from the other cinection on the carb to the short conection on the back of the primer ( suction side ) then tak a pipe from the longer conection on the primer ( pressure side ) back to the tank, the primer pulls fuel from the carb and dumps it back to the tank.

How to change the fuel lines in the 128 Ld Husqvarna Trimmer

Buy some new fuel line then put the line in from the motor side into the tank and feed up and through the opening on the tank. Then you can put on a new filter with a tiny clamp then put it back into the tank making sure the filter is resting on the bottom.

My craftsman chain saw 18 will not start

The 3 things needed for an engine to run:
1. Compression (Cylinder, Piston, rings, gaskets)
2. Ignition (Spark plug, ignition module/coil)
3. Fuel (Fuel lines, Carburetor, gaskets, bad fuel)

More than Likely I would start by checking fuel related since that is usually the biggest offender (fuel lines broken/dry rotted, bad carb.)

Runs terrible misses loss of power and reading p0174 code.

P0174 means that you have to much oxygen in the exaust system. When your car is running your computer sets the air/fuel mixture for you to run at its best perfomance. Most causes for this propblems are; 1. MAF Mass Air Flow Sensor. 2. worn out/dry rotted/ leaky vacuum lines 3. posible EGR vavle but not real common & 4. low fuel pressue. You can clean the MAF with electrical parts cleaner but don't touch the wires and stuff and I would only use elecrical parts cleaner. It should be located in the air duct. Next I would check all my vaccuum lines including the EGR valve for dry rot and the such. The finally you might want to change your fuel filter if it hasn't been done in awhile as well as if posible check your fuel pressure. Disconnect your battery when you are taking the MAF off. I hope this helps and good luck.

I'm trying to replace the fuel lines on the primer button of a small McCullough chain saw. The old ones had dry-rotted and fell off, and I couldn't determine which line goes where. My first configuration...

The primer is just a small pump--it is supposed to draw fresh fuel through the carburetor and expel it back into the tank. There are also just two lines on the carburetor--the upper one should go straight to the fuel tank and filter, the other goes to the intake side of the pump. Just pick a port of the primer (remove the other line for the moment), and try to pump fuel into the bulb (make sure the bulb is not decayed as well)--it should fill with fuel if you have the correct connection--if not, just place the line from the carburetor on the other primer port and try to pump again. If still no fuel, something is plugged in the carburetor or the fuel filter. Hope this helps!

I have replaced the brake booster twice and no change.its making a hissing noise inside the truck by the pedal and when the truck is runningthe pedal goes to the floor.when the truck is not running it has...

Are you sure the fluid level reservoir is full and that the cap in on correctly as well as no lines are leaking fluid. Also sounds as though something may not be connected correctly. Are you sure you have connected the brake-booster vacuum line and that all lines are properly bled ...also no dry-rotted vacuum lines ..a simple test of bending the lines will show cracks and dry-rot replacement is needed if so ....this is a starting point for you ..i hope it helps

Need digram to install fuel lines

First, you sould have one with a filter in the tank going to carb. Next run one from tank to primer bulb and from one from primer bulb to carb.
