  1. Without turning off the product, disconnect the USB cable from the rear of the product. NOTE: The USB cable connects to the port on the back of the product. The port is labeled with the USB icon (0xc 19a0036 - c01424575.gif ). Remove the cartridges from the product.
  2. Wait for the 'Insert Cartridges ' message to display on the control panel.
  3. Disconnect the power cord from the back of the product.
  4. Wait 60 seconds.
  5. Reconnect the power cord. If the product does not automatically turn on, press the Power button .
  6. Reinsert the cartridges, and then close any open doors on the product.
  7. If you receive a prompt to print a calibration page, do so.
  8. Reconnect the USB cable to the rear of the product, and then try printing again.

If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it and give a testimonial for my response

Are you sure the error code is not 0xc....

It sounds like your C7180 has an internal error condition and may need to be reset. It may be easier for you to view this solution online from HP support:

Your operating system may need microsoft .Net framework. Check windows update. When it loads do not run Express, click on Custom. Download
.Net framework in order if possible. Continue the same untill Custom no longer shows updates for .Net framework.
Here is a microsoft link for error 0xc0000135. http://search.microsoft.com/results.aspx?mkt=en-US&setlang=en-US&q=error+0xc0000135

Not enough information provided by poster.

What is the exact model of the printer and who is the manufacturer?

Just as a FYI the error codes are in Hexadecimal. This is signified by the "0x" prefix. The codes are "C1 9A 00 24 and "C1 9A 00 22". Without the make and model of the printer you cannot track down the error codes.

Error message 0xc 180001

Reset the system by holding down the OK, Cancel, Black, and Color buttons down at the same time and turn the printer off. Keep holding the buttons down until the printer shuts off and then turn it back on.

If it then turns itself off again, turn it back on; it should start the calibration sequence (it takes about 5 minutes) and when it finishes, you should have a working printer again!
