Setting up a scanning template using CentreWare Internet Services (CWIS) will fail if the user login name is a domain user, for example, ADSdomain\testadmin.

  1. Open an Internet web browser.
  2. Enter the IP Address of the machine in the Address field, and then press [Enter] on the keyboard. The CWIS home page will be displayed.
  3. Click on the [Services] tab.
  4. Click on the [Job Templates] link.
  5. Click on the [Display Job Templates Screen] button. The Device Template window will be displayed.
  6. Click on the [File Repository Setup] radio button. The File Repository Setup window will be displayed.
  7. Select the required File Repository from the File Repository Setup pull-down menu.
  8. Enter a username that only exists on the SMB server in the Login Name field.
  9. Click on the [Apply] button. A 'Settings have been updated' message will be displayed.
  10. Click on the [Back] button. The File Repository Setup window will be displayed.
  11. Click on the [Template] radio button. The Device Template window will be displayed.
  12. Click on the [Create New] button, and then setup the template again.
  13. Click on the [X] in the upper, right corner to close the Internet browser window and return to the desktop.

I had the same issue and fixed it by adding the group "Everyone" to the shared folder permissions (where I was sending my scans) and assigning the "Everyone" group rights to "change" and "read".

SOURCE: Scan job returns error job is done improperly. Check log 6385

I had this problem when sending to mail account.
This can also be changed for ftp/smb.
So maby this is the answer to you problem.

Solution: Extend the time-out from 90 to 300 seconds

Goto the setting of the machine (http://<ip>) and login with Administrator account.
On the page Network click on Email/SMTP.
Change the Time-Out setting to 300 seconds.

Hi Guys,
I was getting the 2101 error as well. I resolved this by placing the IP address of the computer into the "host name" field. Only thing to remember is that your IP address will change from time to time. You will need to assign a static IP to that particular machine or give it a reserved IP address through your switch. How to reset error code C452 in the Toshiba e studio 2006


1. Turn ON the power while [0] and [8] are pressed
simultaneously.
2. Key in "2002", then press [START].
3. Change the current status counter value "62" to "0", then
press [OK] (to cancel [C452]).
4. Turn the power OFF and then back ON. Make sure that the
equipment enters the normal ready state.

C-2553 is Magenta image unit so replace the unit, as for the 0214 0215 no such codes for that model of machine

TROUBLE CODE C173


the error code given does not match any in the C452 diagnostics
if you meant CB173 then the error reports to the fax control pwb and page sizeing error. reseat the fax board/ reset the fax borad to factory and then reprogram to current location ( cleariing any possible programing mistakes previously) set the correct marketing area ( see service manual) it is very rare for a fax board to go down, the problem likely remains with its install/programming/firmware levels.

There is an error in the in the server password or a template setting.
Here is the documentation. Pretty straight forward

Login to the Server was not possible during Scan to Server file transfer.
arrwup.gifInitial Action Refer to BSD 16.1.
Power OFF/ON
arrwup.gif Procedure Set the login name and password in the destination server.
Set the attributes of the Job Template file correctly.
From a client PC, set the same account as the above as a resource using CW.
