Question about Cisco 892 Router
Often times I have had to change out a router or two because they are just not compatible for whatever your system is using like MagicJack or other devices that may be hooked up to the router that will not work right with this router. If you do not want to change out a router then I would illuminate devices except the computers to see what is stopping this router from working just unplug other things for now and just hook up the computers only and see if the router does this again if it stops doing this on and off then you will know it is either the printer or a wireless device that may be not working properly or the drivers are not up to date.
Try this first before considering a new router. Isolating the issue. Once you have found out this device that is stopping service then upgrade that device get another one that is compatible with this router. That is how I would go about the problem. I had to do this with MagicJack on one of the routers I was using. So I understand it is frustrating I hope that I shed some light on this matter place a vote for me thanks for using FixYa! John
