    Hi Daniel,

It's U1, I also forgot to mention the water source us turned

on and there is water getting in the dishwasher drawers. It

starts working for a little while and then the faulty code of a

faucet with a circle and slash thru come on the led and beeps

till I cut off the power source. It was just installed and has never

    been used......

If the unit is new do not try fix it or have it fixed, or even look into it, call the dealer or take it back to him as you will invalidate your warranty if you do anything to the unit, and that is not worth it. Let the dealer worry about it.

Thanks for your reply. U1 is a water pressure issue usually
occurs due to kinked hose or the fill hose not properly installed in your case.
Hope this helps...please post back for further assistance.

Your water inlet valve is likely defective. The supply hoses behind the machine lead to the watervalve.

E6 fault unable to reset all cycle lights showing

E6 is "Flood switch activated."

Turn the water off and disconnect power to the dishwasher, then empty water from the inside. Clean drain well and check the drain hose at the back. If that does not work, then the water pressure switch is at fault. Call your Fisher & Paykel dealer or Authorized Service Center.

How to reset the flood switch on a fisher & paykel

Hi - unfortunately my good friend it cannot be reset as one would like quite easily anyhow... water has found its way to the base of the drwaers and have activated the flooding switch - one could pull it apart to dry it - tip the water out from the base but if the leaks not repaired you will have the same problem later and will be on-going.

5 Fault Codes

Fault Code LED Display Fault Possible Causes

A leak has occurred in the base of the dishwasher.

Cause

The fill valve has failed open.

 The flood switch is faulty.

Excessive water has been added to a wash sub cycle, indicating leaking seal or siphoning.

Dishwasher keeps flashing F1

F1 on your dishwasher is the fault code for leaking inside the machine. the water has caused the flood switch to activate. have you put any detergent rather than your normal dishwasher detergent into the machine? if you have, the water probably leaked out of your overflow, if not, then you have a leak on the top drawer or bottom drawer. the easiest way to check is to leave the machine off for a couple of days until it drys then turn on the bottom drawer to go thru a cycle.if the F1 comes up again then the problem is on your bottom drawer. if F1 does not come up then try the top drawer. please reply if you require further help.

F1 fault on a ds603

The reason for your F1 fault code in your dishwasher is due to the flood switch that has been activated in your unit. The best way to solve your problem is to turn off the water supply and power supply to your unit and call an authorised service centre. These problems cant be fixed on your own.

F & P DD603 starts to wash then beeps & flashes U1 - Fill Fault. I have cleaned both drawers & replaced all parts correctly, still comes up with U1.

Have you checked whether you are getting the water supply to the dishwasher. Check if there is no kink in the water hose.

If no problem with water supply then check the water pressure rating is OK for the dishwasher.

Fisher paykel dishwasher is starting on its own. Will not stop Both drawers . Need help and approximate cost to fix.

Not sure if you are getting any fault codes on the display.

The most common problem is water getting on the base of the dishwasher.

Turn the mains power off. Extend the bottom drawer out as much as possible and dry the base with towels and hair dryer.

Water can leak if the drain hose is cracked or is kinked. Have it checked.

Pull the bottom drawer out !!!!! To do this on the left and right sides of the bottom drawer you need to pull the pins (Plastic) then pull it out it has hoses still connected pull out and turn on side look in the back left corner (with Pwr off) there is a board there and it has a water (Flood sensor) on it make sure it is dry this is what the Fault code is
