Question about Panasonic DMR-E50 DVD Recorder
I have had a similar problem and found it to be a broken O-ring/ drive belt that is used to spin the disc. About the circumference of a half-dollar, I was lucky to find an elastic band of similar size, but that has now broken and looks like it jammed up the motor... so much for quick fixes! To make the repair you need to open the case, there are other posts on how to do this, in great detail. I am on the web again now to find a service manual to identify the O-ring drive.
Any help there?
