Hello there,
I would suggest you clear your cache. It seems that one session is hanging that is why you are having the error. Depending on your browser, you have to initiate clearing all cookies and cache files.

There is no "Account" tab at the top-right of the Facebook page so l can not select "Logout.


You will find a down arrow to the right of the Home on the top right. click on that and you will find the logout

follow the steps....

  1. Click on Account at the upper right-hand of the page. There will be a drop-down list; click on Logout in the drop-down.


How to logout my Facebook account, to logout your Facebook account just follow few steps---

  • You are now on your Facebook Home Page right, then click on "Account", this option you can see right side of your page.
  • Now you can see "Logout" option on the last of the drop down menu which will open after clicking on "Account".

My husbuns facebook comes out not mine

Actually your husband has remembered his account that's why when you open Facebook,his account comes out automatically. So you need to logout your husband account before open your account.
Open Facebook, Your husband page will open. On the home page of there is a drop down menu name as 'Account' on the top right side. When u click on drop down. Drop Down opens and the last option is 'Logout', Just click on it your husband account will be logged out.
When it will be logout, Facebook main page (Sign in Page) will open, Now Just enter your Email and password there and your account will be open.

How to logout facebook


In facebook home or profile page,click "Account" dropdown at the upper-right corner and click 'Logout'. It will log you out of Facebook!

My facebook account is tied up with my husband's account. When I enter facebook.com I get his account. I would like to get into my own account.

So follow the given instruction

Open Facebook, Your husband page will open. On your home page of there is a drop down menu name as "Account" on the top right side

When u click on drop down. Drop Down opens and the last option is "Logout"

Just click on it, your husband account will be logged out

When i try to log on my daughters page shows up, there is no log in or anything it goes to hers.


That is because your daughter was the last to log in and did not logout. To enable you to login run facebook and when your daughter's page opens select Account in the right top corner. Here you have an option of Logout. Select this and you have your chance to login. And if you do not want anyone else to see your page then logout of facebook when you are done.

How to logout on facebook by typing url... im using a proxy server(unblockbook.biz)when i clicked the account tab it leads me to edit account page...so i have no option sometimes but to close the window...


If you click on the shaded "down arrow" on the top far right of the facebook page, next to the security settings button, you will find the log out option listed, click on it. It will log you out of facebook. I hope this helps.
