My whirlpool combo wall oven microwave RMC305PVS01 wont work. The lcd panel says door and there is no light inside the microwave. Do I pull the microwave change bulb and door switch??

I would start with the switch. Might be an adjustment. Microwaves usually have 2 or 3 door switches mounted to an assenbly. Sometimes these need adjusted. Still need to take control panel off to adjust.

Whirlpool microwave hood no power/panel display lights! Breakers are fine!

You should test the outlet. A hair dryer or toaster would be best to test the outlet "under load".
If that's okay, I would then suspect the microwave's internal fuse.
If that's okay, the next suspect would be a thermostat. One is on the top of the cooking cavity and one is near the magnetron.
There is a video here showing how to remove a typical over the range control panel assembly in under 5 minutes.
Then you should be able to find a mini manual / technical sheet hidden behind the controls or grille. The tech sheet is very helpful in locating and testing components.
Accessing some components (especially the oven cavity thermostat) for testing and possible replacement will require you to remove the oven from the wall and take off the outer cover.

If so, the installation instructions (here) are very handy, and it's best to have two people since the microwave can be heavy and awkward.
You can order any needed parts here.

Kenmore microwave 911 41479791 no power?

see this causes and fix it. God bless you
No Lights or Power, Unit seems Dead First check is the main fuse of the unit. On countertop units, you will need to take the shell off. The fuse will be close to where the cord comes through into the unit. OTR units, this main fuse is usually behind the control panel or possibly behind the vent. Usually the fuse is obvious if blown, otherwise test with an OHM meter, if open, replace fuse.
Some brands will also have a thermal cut-off fuse in the incoming voltage line to the control board. Older Maytags and Samsungs have this fuse in it. This thermostat looking fuse is usually above the oven cavity somewhere under the outside shell. Sometimes you can get to it through the vent of OTR models. Test with an OHM meter, replace if open.

. Door is not closed (some models).
2. You waited to long (open and close door to wake it up).

4. Defective interlock switches.
5. Faulty controller or its power supply.
6. Touchpad or controller board contaminated by overenthusiastic cleaning.

I have a whirlpool undercounter model # MH3184XPS-2 an has no power

On this model, this is usually a blown fuse or thermostat.

This model has three fuses, a 20A, a 4A, and a .25A and three cavity thermostats.

There should be a "mini-manual" (tech sheet) hidden inside the unit behind the control panel or hidden on the left side behind the grille, which is very helpful when troubleshooting, testing, and locating components.

mini_manual_behind_grille_small.jpgdee77f7.jpgAt our Web site, we have a video available showing how to remove a typical over the range control panel assembly in under 5 minutes.

Accessing the cavity thermostats for testing and possible replacement will require you to remove the oven from the wall.

If so, the installation instructions are very handy, and it's best to have two people since the microwave can be heavy and awkward.

If for some reason you don't still have yours, you can download Whirlpool owner's manuals and installation instructions here.

You can find helpful exploded view diagrams and order parts by entering your full model number here.

If none of the fuses or thermostats are blown, then the problem is probably on your control circuit board, which is especially common if you recently had trouble with your cooktop lights or exhaust fans.

We see (and repair) this a lot. The problem is on the control panel, which we regularly repair nationwide by mail for $39.95 postpaid with a one year guarantee.

I'd test the outlet with a toaster or hair dryer first.

There will be a 20A fuse and two or three cavity thermostats.

There should be a "mini-manual" (tech sheet) hidden inside the unit behind the control panel or hidden on the left side behind the grille, which is very helpful when troubleshooting, testing, and locating components.

1. Unplug microwave oven or disconnect power.
2. After 40 seconds, check to see whether this solves the problem.
3. Check resistance of the magnetron thermostat.
4. Check the magnetron.
5. Check wiring to the 1100W inverter and control system. See “Checking

Whirlpool microwave not working. inside light's on, control panel working, hear rely click. No fan sound, beverage not heating inside. Door switch appears to be OK

It depends on the model number, but it may be as simple as a door switch or the magnetron's thermostat / thermal cutout.

See our file on door switches here.

We have a whirlpool GH5184XPS-4 microwave that we are getting an F7 error on. We removed control panel and parts of the board were scorched. we resoldered in loose parts still have smae problem

From the technical sheet usually located behind the control panel or grille:

F7 Power to magnetron interrupted

1. Check the door, hinge and cavity front alignment. Adjust as needed.

2. Check the operation of all interlock switches.

3. To check the over-temperature protection for the magnetron, unplug microwave oven or disconnect power.

4. After 40 seconds, check to see whether this solves the problem.

5. If this solves the problem, check the cooling fan for proper operation or blockage.

6. Unplug microwave oven or disconnect power.

7. Check resistance of the magnetron thermostat. It should be close to 0 ohms. If necessary, replace magnetron thermostat.

8. Check that the control cable to the 1100 watt inverter is correctly connected to plug P2 on the display PCB. If necessary, adjust or reconnect.

9. If interlock switches operate correctly, replace 1100W inverter.

10. If problem persists, replace electronic control.

11. Plug in microwave oven or reconnect power.

You can usually find helpful exploded view diagrams and order parts by entering your full model number here.

Control panel on a whirlpool microwave

SOME ELECTRONIC CONTROLS HAVE A LOCKOUT FEATURE THAT IS ENGAGED AND DISENGEGED BY HOLDING A CERTAIN BUTTON FOR 5 SECONDS. LOOK FOR A LOCK PAD AND HOLD IT FOR 5 SECONDS TILL IT BEEPS.

IF NOT AVAILABLE, THE TOUCH PAD MAY BE UNPLUGGED FROM THE MAIN P.C. BOARD OR MAY BE DEFECTIVE.

ALSO, TRY UNPLUGGING THE MICROWAVE FOR 5 MINUTES
TO RESET THE MICROCOMPUTER, THEN PLUG IT BACK IN AND SEE IF IT WORKS.

AN ELECTRICAL OUTLET NOT WIRED WITH PROPER POLARITY OR NOT GROUNDED CAN AFFECT ELECTRONIC APPLIANCES ALSO.
