Uninstall the Sound Adapter totally from the System first,
Then go to "scan for hardware changes",
This will bring up a prompt to install the new hardware found (Which is your Sound Adapter).
If it doesn't install automatically, then navigate and go to where the driver is located on your system hard drive or flash drive.
After doing this and installing it, restart your system.
It should work like that.
(In case you dont know how to uninstall the Adapter, Right-Click on my computer Icon, Properties, Device Manager, then select the Adapter under Sound Adapters adapters, and right click on it, then select uninstall.)
Access: www.eMachines.com
Search for your type of computer (desktop/portable),
your series (T-----), and your model-number (Txxxx)
and you'll be able to download "drivers" for your specific system.
It's better that you will know what is the brand of your motherboard. You need to visit their site, then search the model of your motherboard. After you have search the model you can download the sound driver.
Or you may go to this site: "www.howtodrivers.com" search the model or brand of your unit.
