Question about Brother HL-2170W Laser Printer
Normally, this is usually set by some type of glitch in the system. I suggest first to turning off your printer, unplugging all of the cords, and wait 30-45 seconds. Then plug everything back in, and turn it on. This usually fixes the problem 60% of the time.
If it doesn't, try removing the printer from your printer list and then disconnecting the USB cord from the computer, and restart your computer and plug it back in. It will cause the computer to re-detect your printer again and it should start working.
Beyond those two solutions, if neither of them work, I would suggest to download another version of the drivers from the Brother.com website. Load/Install the drivers.
