It's pretty simple. "A" represents CAPS LOCK, "1" NUM LOCK, and "F" FUNCTION LOCK

I have the microsoft wireless mouse and keyboard, was working fine, i cant get it to connect now. i need help

there are three reset buttons one on the bottom of the mouse and one on your keyboard's
backside and there is a reset button on the receiver that plugs into the USB press all at once
untill lights flash and try to get it to connect again.
or try to
1- use "Reset" (in you case it might be "Connect") buttons on your keyboard's
backside and also on receiver.
2-use "Reset" (in you case it might be "Connect") buttons on your mous's
backside and also on receiver.

Turn off all other "wireless" devices (cell-phones, wireless telephones, iPhone) in your home, and see if the light on the receiver is "solid" on.

The 2 red lights on the right side of the mouse receiver are on.

Hi,

usually the receiver is powered via the connection to the pc. ( ps2 style sockets usually green and purple ) dependant upon make/model of wireless. i would suggest replacing the batterys. on the mouse. these do use more power than the keyboard. roughly 5 to 1 or more.
after replacing the batteries. ( 2 x AA Or 2 x AAA ) press the button on the bottom of the mouse, and should have a button on the reciever. to syncronise the pair together.

In regards to your question, you may have 2 lights on the receiver. 1 for transmit, and 1 for receive.

new batteries should solve this problem.

Thankyou for using Fixya.

Meaning of indicator lights on wireless receiver

I concur 2/3's with yooperbud.

1 = System is connected and working
A = Cap locks On= Cap lock is on. Off = Cap lock is off.
F = Function Key usage. On = I'm going to use the alternative fuctions of the F keys as programmed in the Keyboard settings. Off = Your using the standard features of the F keys.
