Can't set up speakers to work with the computer

Hi

Speakers are usually very simple to set up. If they are standard speakers then all you should need to do is plug them in at the mains, and then plug them into the correct port on the back of your computer. There are three holes the same size for speakers/headphones, microphone and possibly video. I'd suggest putting some music on (use windows media player or go to playlist.com) then plugging the speaker cable into each hole in turn - one of them should work. Make sure that the speakers are turned on and that the volume is turned up. Also if you go to Start>>>All Programs>>>Accessories>>>Entertainment>>>Volume Control and make sure that the volume there is set to at least halfway for each and that the mute box is not checked for any.

If this does not work then there may be a problem with your soudcard or with the speakers themselves. Try using headphones and if this works then you know that there's a problem with the speakers.

Hope this helps!

Vista

Hi
If the soundcard you have doesn't fit the specifications required for the game then there's not much that you can do. With a bit of luck you might be able to play the game, just without sound.

The specifications required are "Sound: DirectX 9.0c compatible sound card (Note: For Creative
Sound Blaster Audigy cards running under Windows Vista you should expect
lower performance)"

You may be able to upgrade your soudcard if it is a desktop computer, otherwise you may want to try running the game on a friends computer.

Hopefully this information might help you out a bit.

No sound after installuing win xp 2007.

there could be many reasons, but since you mentioned you JUST installed the 07 for XP it could be that the:

the soundcard drivers may not be installed or the XP07 does not have drivers for your soudcard, best move is locate your soundcard brand and model then download one from the internet, third-party drivers and utility (for high def) can be used, but i'de recommend software from the manuf.
